Piano Zoom Concert: 18th April 2020

We are all getting used to staying at home. While there are some things like holidays (and the Suzuki Gala at Royal Albert Hall, and cakes) that unfortunately can't be replicated virtually, the number of things that can be is increasing all the time. We've had our first piano lessons over Zoom - full hour sessions with Aggie, and even Thea almost managed to go through her entire (fledgling) reportoire!

Now, Aggie is coming to the end of her second Suzuki piano book (for those who ain't familiar - there are 7 books in the Suzuki Piano curriculum, and finishing a book is a real milestone), and this means organising a recital where Aggie will perform all the pieces in the book - as we did a year ago for book 1. Rather than wait for Corvid-19 to subside before holding the recital, we'll do it virtually! So for the first time, Aggie will be performing LIVE on Zoom - on the 18th April 2020 (Saturday) at 3pm. The concert will probably last about 20-25 minutes.

Practising during the staycation!

Of course, the good news is that we can host many more people (and wherever you are!) on Zoom than we can normally in our living room! To make sure you get an email invite to our Zoom concert (along with instructions for those new to the platform), please get in touch with us, or simply fill in the subscribe box on the tafatefe home page. I am sure Aggie will be thrilled to 'see' you there!

Until next time! B

P.S. The concert is of course FREE - but we would really appreciate if you would consider planting a tree at our tafatefe grove (Trees for Life is a Scottish charity re-wilding a forest in the Highlands) - thank you.
